Congratulations to Jack Colbert, Maxwell Daw, Parker Green, Sophia Henrich, and Lillian Newby.

Each of these HS grads received $4,000 to use on educational expenses at their chosen college. We had so many wonderful applications from students affected by cancer either personally or through an immediate family member.

It is through the generosity of our supporters that we were able to donate $20,000 in scholarships this year. The Gala Dessert Auction funded this need in the biggest way. Thank you for making this scholarship program possible!

The 2025 scholarship application and information will be released this fall.

Mark your calendars now for the 2025 gala March 1, 2025, at Encore Event Center (former Michaud’s) in Strongsville. The Fall Gala is a yearly event which funds special projects like this!

About the ETY College Scholarship:

The ETY College  scholarships will be awarded to Ohio High School senior(s) living in the following counties: Medina, Cuyahoga and Summit that will be attending a 2 or 4 year college in the fall after graduating from high school. The number of scholarships offered and the exact amounts are determined after our spring gala, but will be no less than $500.

Scholarship criteria includes:

• Either the student applying AND/OR an immediate family member (parent, guardian, sibling, family member living with them) must have had a cancer diagnosis
• Applicant must be a High School Senior from Medina, Cuyahoga or Summit County
• Applicant plans on attending a 2 or 4 year college
• Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA
• Applicant must complete the scholarship application
• Applicant must attach current HS transcript
